Insurance you can ask about
For transport and plant work we expect providers to hold relevant cover, such as Goods in Transit and Public Liability. Always confirm your provider’s insurance before the job starts.
Waste handled responsibly
Any provider carrying waste away must be registered as a waste carrier with the relevant environmental regulator. Ask to see their registration before booking a clearance.
Clear, honest listings
Listings should describe real services, coverage and pricing approach. We moderate listings and remove content that is unsafe, misleading or unlawful.
Before you book
- • Get the price, scope and any call-out charges in writing.
- • Confirm the date, access and any parking restrictions.
- • Ask for proof of insurance relevant to the job.
- • For clearances, ask to see the waste carrier registration.
- • Never pay the full amount upfront to someone you have not verified.
